Starting from 16 May 2009...IRC & MRCH Proudly Presents:Mini-Z GP Series IRC & MRCH 2009 (MiniZ GP Race 2009)Buat julung-julung kalinya GP Mini-Z yang melibatkan kerjasama dua mini-z shop iaitu Indoor Racing & Cafe dan Mini-RC Hobbies akan diadakan bermula daripada 1st GP di MRCH pada 9 Mei 2009. GP yang mempunyai 7 siri iaitu 3 di IRC & 3 di MRCH dan 1 Siri di Luar (Gabungan 4 Track Kyosho - Race Mini-Z Terbesar di Malaysia ).
Format race ialah pengumpulan point bagi setiap race, point yang terbanyak akan memenangi

Car SpecificationChassis
Only open to all 1/28 on road cars:-Kyosho Mini Z AWD, MR02, MR015, MR01, Firelap, Iwaver and X-mod.Body Shell- All Kyosho, Firelap and Iwaver body shell.- No Pan Car and Lemans body are allowed. - The IRC&MRCH mgmt reserve the right to disqualify a body for excessive material,removal and windscreens must be remaining intact the body shell.
Motor~no limit to motor use; (open)
Wheel- Unlimited.
PCB BoardOnly original Kyosho, Atomic, Firelap or X-mod PCB boards are allowed. FET upgrade is allowed. External Turbo is allowed.
Battery- Car must be powered by four AAA size batteries. No more, No less. Batteries must be Alkaline, NiMH, or NiCd.- No other type of battery is allowed. / For example: Lithium Polymer batteries are not allowed.- Extra Capacitor is allowed.
Tyre- Any Brand: Rubber/silicone tyre only. - No foam tires allowed. - No traction compounds allowed on tire, or race surface.- Tire warmers are allowed / Tires only cleaned with a 70% alcohol solution.
Transmitter- Any brand transmitter.
Lap counting system- Participants must purchase their own transponder except for those who already have (Core Speedway Transponder Tag)(RM25.00 each for one time purchase)
Marshal- Drivers are responsible and compulsory to be a marshal when the other groups or heat is in racing. For example heat 1 drivers need to be heat 2marshal when heat 2 main is racing or vice versa. Penalty will be imposed for drivers who fail to be a marshal.
Heats Grouping- Grouping will be justified by the qualifying hits on the race day and will be divided into HEATS / total of participants- Example:10 participants = 2 HEATS (5 car per heat)Heat 1 - 2X3min QUALIFYING + Race 8minHeat 2 - 2X3min QUALIFYING + Race 8minHeat 1 & 2 Position will be merge to decide FINAL HEAT 1 & 2Final Heat 1 & 2 = 2X3min QUALIFYING + Race 8minFinal Heat 1 & 2 result will be merge to decide for position and pointsQualifying HitsOpen Class- 2 x 3 minutes qualifying time, starting grid position to determine by the qualifying hits.-
There will be 2 qualifying runs for each HEATS.- Each run will last 3 minutes.- For the FIRST run, the starting grid will be staggered in a random order.- For the SECOND run, racers will be re-shuffled into heats based results from the FIRST qualifier runs.- The starting order for each run will be based on the number of laps run in the time allowed.
Final Race FormatEVERY HEATS – 8 MINUTESFINAL RACE GP(RACE 7) – 10 MINUTESALL RACER RACE TOGETHER (Example:Total of 14 participants race on only 1 HEATS & 2X5 Min QUALIFY) Race entry fees: RM30.00 per racePoint SystemPosition PointBased on total of participants, for example:Total of 10 participants joining the GP1st Place - 10 pts + Extra 2 pts2nd Place - 9 pts3rd Place - 8 pts and so on, this to ensure every participants get a Race PointBest Lap - Extra 1 pts
